We had a weight sensitive heating pad for an elderly girl. She'd almost get grumpy if we moved her off of it. It automatically turned itself off and on and was specifically made for pets. Don't get a hearing pad made for humans.

Now I want to do some research on depression in cats and sunlight and Vitamin D and (boy, does this sound like a rabbit hole.)
