The american population wasn't nearly as hard hit as the germans were... particularly on the male side.

Honestly, even focusing on agriculture, GMOs are less of a problem than the monocrop agricultural system - if one pest comes through that corn isn't resistant to, we're SOL (and meat, dairy, etc. will be in trouble as well as the obvious grain-based products). Roundup resistance is troubling too, but the agricultural runoff from all of the pesticides and fertilizer we use to support industrial agriculture is by far the biggest concern. If you live in an area that has a lot of corn, soybeans, wheat, etc., you should be far more concerned about the health of the water supply than you would be about the chance of getting cancer from GMO crops.

Visualize data is shorthand for "I create statistical graphics that make it easy to draw conclusions from lots of data without (necessarily) delving into the math-y details". I'm trained to take data sets and create graphics that describe the data set in a human-readable form (avoiding perceptually problematic things like red-green gradients, pie charts, three-dimensional bar charts, etc.).
