Granted that it is not the same thing, but still very concerning. How can we trust DDG's owner of protecting users' privacy, given his shady past? It's like Bill Cosby is making the policy on sexual harassment. It doesn't exactly fill one with confidence.

Damn. I thought atleast those who proclaim themselves as the heroes of privacy will abstain from such acts.

I have read somewhere that blockchain could provide true privacy that cannot be screwed with.

I hope I'm not late, as I've wanted to ask this question to an expert for some time now : Is it true that our planet is fucked no matter what we do? I heard that a recent UN report states that we only have 12 good years left, and am episode in The Newsroom states as such (not a reliable source, I know). And if that is true, why should we bother to right our wrongs now?
