I grew up in the west bank, where Hamas doesn't control, so I can't speak for Hamas. But for a defensless bunch of palestinians, Israeli soldiers sure don't have a second thought to mistreat and make your day just that much worse. I am an American citizen, and because I have a small beard, I was the only one taken out of line at their airport and questioned several times, searched and had my belongings checked several times, and at the end of it all, strip searched in a back room. This state is of real disgust and hate, and they made sure to let me know I wasn't welcome there. What bothers me is their daily routine is revolved around actions like these to remind you that we can do these things, and there is not one thing you can do about it. So I sat there like a little bitch while the soldier skipped the whole bus of other american immigrants (just like me), came to me to search me and check my belongings all while everyone is watching me, and then got off the airport bus without checking anyone else. Again you read about Palestinians bombing Israel, but they don't bring up how often they kicked those very same palestinians out of homes they have owned through generations, all for some BS permit issues that Israel themselves wouldn't renew their permit, which I find funny. So many times I wanted to react to the mistreatment, but I have a family here in America, and Israel is notorious for either shooting you, or at least taking you for 1-2 years without a charge while you wait to see a judge. Say what you want about your beloved state of Israel, but everytime I watch a Nazi movie, I laugh at the irony going on now.

Growing up in Palestine I can tell you there is no effort needed to hate israel as a child. You start quickly learning they're the ones with the guns who will kill you in an instant. A bunch of 18 year old punks mistreating men and women the same age as their parents and grandparents who think they're the shit because they have a rifle.

Exactly where did Hamas even come from, I said nothing about that. Perhaps /u/SuperSix5 is also confusing 9-11 year olds for Hamas militants like the IDF did this morning when they killed 4 children playing on the beach.
