With only whole number precision on long/lat, you can only get as precise as:

"It's buried somewhere in Nebraska."

If you want to know where to dig, you need 6 digits after the period to be within 4 inches of the correct location.

It wasn't "hard to access", it was actually disabled. As in nobody could get to it without a mod. That was the reason people dislike that decision by the ESRB. They actually punished a developer for something that really wasn't an issue.
