There is nothing to evolve in the realm of consciousness... being outside time and space, it is static and unbound.

Now in regards to what could happen should should the mass populace pierce the vail of ignorance, and meld into true awareness... we as a species could blossom and prosper not only on this planet, but wherever we find ourselves outside of it.
