I've seen you speak and demo some of your early game prototypes. As a programmer, I find its difficult to maintain enthusiasm for a project without positive feedback, but often my prototypes aren't pretty- and I find most people I show aren't impressed by what I'm doing, even if it takes me a lot of time (and I think its cool).
Do you show your friends and family your early projects? Before Braid, did you find it difficult to get positive feedback on your prototypes?
