When it comes to stir fry the secret is lemongrass and sesame oil. Or, the secret when it comes to stir frying it comes to just testing everything once and writing down what works. My proudest moments in the kitchen always relate to stews. Preferably with beef, dill and fennel.

Yeah, i know what you mean. Everything goes in circles. These days everything that is hip triples in price in no time and unfortunately a hipster chef used sesame oil in her sallad last year and now the prices has skyrocketed in no time. But thats ok, you just have to innovate like you did or find another solution like almond oil or chestnut oil. All of them are basically the same typ of oils but doesnt give off the same "egdyness" as sesame oil does. Easily compensated with a little fish oil. We have recently started seeing these stores with spices etc in containers here in Sweden. Before they could only be purchesed in company tax free stores that were only for companies. Im gonna go wild in that section next pay day :)
