What did you think of the Dexter books? Did you ever consider tracking them more closely in the show than you ended up doing?

I work at a police department and have a pretty good understanding of real world physics, forensics, police procedure, etc and at this point my suspension of reality is too high to watch shows like CSI for the most part. Do you experience something similar?

I'm sorry that your jail sucked. I worked for a SD for a while and our jail, at least, isn't like that. Good on you for trying to change yours for the better as well as all of the other jails like that.
