I knew it was coming, they told us beforehand when we were hired that we will be fired if we violated the protocol. I wasn't happy, but I left knowing I did the right thing and they couldn't change that.

From what I know he wasn't swept away. I believe he was a resident of the Condos on the beach. I see what you are saying though. It could have been my responsibility beforehand. It's a very bad protocol in my opinion and would like to see the protocol be removed.

Red Cross is the most common company in the area to my knowledge. I don't believe they have the same protocol and are able to go help someone outside their zone. I'm not positive about this tho.
