Not OP, but usually going to the EMT certification boards. I used to hold a national EMT cert, but I know a lot of states require state-specific EMT certs. If her EMT cert is state, which it probably is, especially in the south, I'd start there. If nothing else, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I have a bull terrier/pit mix who is fear reactive only outside of the vet (she loses it and starts barking in fear), but the moment she gets inside, she's totally fine (after Trazodone). She's not responsive to toys or treats. She's also fine in our backyard with strangers as well as inside the house. She's on Prozac daily and gets Trazodone before her appointments because she submissive-pees herself otherwise. Is there anything else I can do for her so she's not so stressed out every time she has to see the vet?

Asking for a friend. He mentioned to us yesterday that he's lost a lot of weight he didn't need to lose. I know a lot of cancer signs usually involve unexplained weight loss and with older men, the risks for prostate and colon cancer are higher (correct me if I'm totally off-base). Did that ever happen to you or was it just the tarry stools?

I've lived most of my life with having such a poor sense of smell (stick me at the dump and it doesn't bother me), but I can't fathom losing my sense of taste. What is stuff tasting like if you lose your sense of taste whether due to COVID or other reasons?

How true is it that having a healthy gut (like having a healthy supply of microbes) is linked to weighing less?
