Do you think A.I will become Sentient and if so how long will it take? -Wayne from New Jersey

I think of myself as sentient by being able to think in my mind, I can picture what you would look like in my image sitting next to me on my couch possibly sharing a laugh over a nice hot pizza.

I think it would be amazing if Robots had a mind like ours. I think it's cool they can beat the best Go players but that to me is like a super hard CoD Robot kicking my butt in a match, but not even close to something resembling us.

Do you think A.I will be essential in space exploration?

We cannot explore our universe on our own. Imagine sending thousands of tiny robots to explore and report back to us maybe?

Do you think A.I or Robots will ever develop emotion? I think that's what most people are trying to get at when they ask if they can ever be creative.

After all that's what separates humans am I right, being able to have emotion with high intelligence?

Thank you for awnsering my question! I have explored a lot of A.I chat bots including Mitsuku and believe that is just outwardly displaying emotion and think you're spot on with the distinction. I think that's where all the 'scare' comes from because Robots actually having emotion would disrupt religion among other things. I think emotion is just the chemical electro algorithms in our brain that could be duplicated one day by A.I? Either way it's the most interesting topic of this generation and thank you for your time helping A.I advance
