Coming from a fan, I'd say no, it doesn't hurt it.

Not seeing it so often makes the impact of it that much greater. Just like last week, Randy Orton was bleeding when Seth Rollins Curb Stomped his head into the announcers table. That was a perfect moment for blood.

Also Randy Orton bleeding in the Money in the Bank match. Just having him bleeding made certain spots and moments in the match that much better.
