If a bird you sold comes back to your roost, does that mean it's yours again? Or are you supposed to return it to the purchaser?

I really appreciate that throughout this thread you own up to your part in creating the situation. You sound like a rational human! Did it take you some time to come to grips with the fact that it was preventable and shouldn't have happened?
