Democratic, Republican it doesn't matter. They're ALL funded by the same guys. (there are some exceptions though) That's why the elections of '12 was an utter joke to watch. Obama is as corporatist as Bush was. Period. And I'm already holding my heart (IN FEAR) for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Thank you for answering all these questions mr Ellsberg. I agree with everything you just said. The GOP got really hateful through the decades. Mostly because the big influence the Tea Party has on them. And yes, if a republican was in power right now; we'd already been in some countries fighting the war "for freedom" (lol). FYI, I'm as liberal/progressive as it can get, so I'm just really dissapointed in Obama, and I really wish there were less "Obama apologists" in the world defending everything he does; like his signature drone strikes, not wanting to change anything on the NSA, his broken promises like closing GITMO and labeling GMO, his war on whistleblowers, etc etc. I'm waiting on some real change to happen, like Sen. Warren or Sen. Sanders as president.

I admire your optimism though, because I can't see the public waking up soon. As long as they have their large cokes and working TV/internet, they won't care at all about their rights and privacy being sold in the name of "security". We're living in some dark age, where there's a public outcry for 5 minutes, and we go on with our lives like nothing ever happened. Best example; Facebook users get more upset when Facebook launches a new update, than them selling their personal info to govt officials.
