Not OP obviously, but I have interviewed and hired. Typically what we are trying to establish is that you have created things or solved issues in a way that is similar to what will be needed in the role. So if you have done volunteer work or you've made a website for your friend's band (specific example obviously) or something translatable, note that. Don't be afraid to apply for these jobs. Some will drop you, yes. My first job in my field (IT) had a 2-year experience requirement as well. I leaned on small projects I had done for friends or professionally as side work while in college as evidence of my capability.

I lost my mom to an overdose just over a year ago. She had 21 years clean at one point but had severe degerative disc disorder in her back and was struggling with painkillers for years. When an addict you love dies, you are filled with the most wide and complex array of emotions... everything from simply missing them as you would any loved one over to being angry with them, then to feeling an unexpected sense of relief that the uncontrollable rollercoaster of anxiety and early morning calls and uncomfortable family discussions are over now. Please share this with those kids in a way that is meaningful and appropriate for those kids. Let them know that it's OK to feel things like relief that your mind wants you to think are wrong. It doesn't mean you didn't love the person. In fact it's a reflection of how much you cared and worried for them.

Edit: the same advice goes for you as well. Please take it easy on yourself.

Fair point, but I think it's also worth noting that if a car detected an animal or other unexpected obstruction, that info could be communicated to other cars in the vicinity in milliseconds, so the cars could all "slam the brakes" essentially in unison. Still not ideal, I realize, but not the disaster we would think.

Also if it interests you, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers hire a variety of staff (not just clinicians and assistants). They typically require one year of continual sobriety for applicants.

Thanks! Regarding optimal temperatures for RMH, what are they and where? I suspect you'd be most concerned about aiming for ideal temp at the reburn chamber most of all...?
