Worked in news, not in the field but in the control room. Worked through a hurricane, some blizzards, flooding, many other weather events. I've never heard of our photogs receiving hazard pay, and knowing how cheap most news affiliates are, I would be extremely surprised if they did. TWC, CNN, etc may be different.

I just saw a piece ripping a Tegna-owned affiliate a new asshole for sending a reporter out into Harvey with no photog, no backup, no real safety measures at all.

Almost all local affiliates use "one-man-band" reporters who also have to shoot and edit their own video, and set up their own live shots. That works fine for regular stories on a sunny afternoon but doing this a hurricane or other extreme weather event, especially a weather event that washed away entire families, is incredibly dangerous.

I believe we share a hometown! So my question is: fuck, marry, kill: Ottobar, Metro Gallery, the Crown?

I girl hit me in the stomach with her ass and I almost puked. In warm-ups. She was extremely proud.

I definitely made a horp. I managed to stifle the puke just as a spotted a trash can.

Stunt Face isn't my derby name, but it is the tentative name for a makeup tutorial/Mythbusters/Jackass Mashup idea I had.
