I am so sorry. I was physically, verbally, mentally, and psychologically abused by my mother. The first incident that I can recall occured when I was 2 years old. I too, was misdiagnosed and taking the wrong medication for 2 years. So, I can feel your pain. If you are still being evaluated mentally, perhaps they should be looking toward PTSD. Of course, I cannot say that you have this. What I can tell you is that I do and it was caused by childhood abuse. The medication that is used to treat PTSD is much different than the medication used for schizophrenia. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
