You say former conspiracy theorist. How deep did you go? Alex Jones, Jim Maars or full on David Icke?

Are there any "conspiracys" that you still think might be real?

Dont forget if CT is down, or a facility issue. Can also go on divert for MCI...

What was happening in Milwaukee was a bit unique... I've worked as a travel RN at some very busy ERs. It took an act of Congress to divert. Milwaukee ERs were on diversion every day... one day there were NO ambulance accepting ERs on the north side, that's all 6 north side, plus 2/3 of the south side ERs were on diversion... they had a new policy enacted after that day, once >6 ERs are on diversion, everyone is forced open for 2 hrs. Then they all shut off again... that wouldn't fly anywhere else I've worked

Perfectly put...

One thing i was taught when I was younger was how to take a multiple choice exam, any exam. Taking an exam is a skill, not unlike anything else. You can get good at it.

not OP, but Fire/EMS is dispatched differently... For EMS/Fire calls, typically 1st responding unit responds lights and sirens (call it what you want, code 3, 10-17, emergency...)

Once on scene they can downgrade incoming units to non-emergency if it's not warranted... Driving lights and sirens is super dangerous for everyone on the road.

EMS and fire are usually together... There's a lot less to do dispatching those calls vs police
