Once you've sworn in at the MEPS station. Before then, no matter what the recruiter says, you can walk.
If your degree has calculus-based physics, you could apply to an officer program. Different path, better pay, different future opportunities.

Have your networks ever been DDoS'd, or in any other way bothered? Do you do much monitoring for attacks, or is there no concern?

How much difficulty/playtesting did you have to do to ensure the game worked smoothly on all three platforms? I mean, it's not an AAA title with hugely complex graphics, but certainly there were some differences you had to work through.

10 year Nuke ET Chief (SS), just got out.
What do you want to do after the Navy, and how long do you want to stay in for?
CTR - Any CT rating can get you pretty lucrative jobs with defense contractors, NSA, etc. Correction: Any CT rating can open the door to those jobs. You'll find once you're out that you don't have a magic key that gets you jobs, it just gets you past HR so you can interview.
SEAL - I have no idea what you would do, other than LE, security, Blackwater, or training camps.
Nuke - the world is your oyster. Here are some examples of ex-Nukes I know: Power plant operator (nuclear, conventional, or green), electrical transmission/dispatch, multi-craft technician, instrumentation technician, diesel mechanic, data center operations engineer, engineers of all flavors, project managers, executives at various companies...
Here's a list of companies you could work for and earn decent money after a six-year stint as a nuke: Amazon, Apple, Boeing, Bosch, Caterpillar, Facebook, Google, Intel, John Deere, Samsung, Siemens, Sony, Xerox, and any utility you wish to name.
Seriously, pick a job, and you can do it. Why? Because the nuclear pipeline trains you to learn new information at an insanely fast pace. You just have to bust your ass while you're in to qualify the right watchstations, get the certifications, and use Tuition Assistance to get a degree.
I just took at job as a Distribution System Engineer at an electric co-op. Only tangentially related to what I did on a submarine, but I was able to convince them that the skillsets could translate, and that I could master anything they threw at me in short order.
Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions.
