The casino managers can and do change the overall return to player... But they do not sit there and fiddle with it minute to minute. I don't know every nuance of regulatory compliance but I strongly suspect that would be illegal. I also know how back-end casino management systems work and it's not possible with the one I am familiar with. Loading a new payable would reboot the game. It would be obvious. I guess you could load a loose payable late at night... But why would you?

You can maybe figure out that this Wolf Run pays out more than that Wolf Run... Things like where the game is placed do matter sometimes. But once you plant yourself in front of a machine, there is nothing you can do to change the odds of what happens when you spin. Games are never "due" to hit. Just enjoy the ride.
