What do you think about today's music of a similar ilk? Do you enjoy the way this kind of sound has evolved and spread into other genres over the years?

It's great to hear you say that. Many fans within this 'scene' seem rather stubborn to move past the early nineties. I mean, each to their own, but it's a little sad to see people immediately close themselves off to to different routes. I'm always excited to see how noise can worm its way into other sounds!
