Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this AMA.
I have had a severe anaphylactic dairy allergy my whole life (I’m almost 20 years old), but I sometimes struggle with discerning between an actual reaction and anxiety.
For example, if I smell cheese or butter it sometimes creates a sensation similar to a reaction. I’ve never had any real symptoms after smelling an allergen, so there should be no worry, but it sometimes causes a sensation of a dry throat or itching. Is it possible to develop an airborne allergy at my age?
Thanks!
