Even shitty ass Tuesday Morning had "trash control". I thought it was a dumb idea until I realized how many people attempted to throw shit out thinking they could get it later.

I love how blood type is listed as a stat. Like, only four stats are listed and blood type was deemed to be as important as height and weight... in this context.

I can't speak for acoustic instruments, but the tonewood thing has largely been put to bed amongst electric guitar players. A few things are rooted in reality, like denser, stiffer materials producing more sustain with all other things constant. There might even be something to be said about instruments made out of exotic materials just being better made (e.g. if a luthier is spending hours searching the forest for a perfectly grown exotic tree, and only cutting it on a bloodmoon eclipse after a timber wolf howls 13 times, they're gonna make damn well sure they cut no corners and make no mistakes in actually using the rare material). There's probably even an intangible connection a player feels with a super special instrument, whether it's of measurably better sound quality or not.

What did you enlist as, and did you plan on making such a great career out of it? How many jobs did you go through in that 20 year timespan?

It's come to the point where I read "Investigative Journalist" in the title, and it carried the same weight as "all-caps facebook ranter".
