My go-to response to "What's your favorite beer?"

My favorite beer is either cold, open or free.

Why is it so hard for Director Perry to say this here?

He has repeatedly declined and offered instead "...the military is trained to follow orders..."

Is he insinuating the command and control system is broken? Is he implying the upper echelons of command are mindless drones? /u/SecDef19 blink twice if you're being held hostage.

This presumably increases over time as the potential energy in the fault builds? i.e. The more years since the last event, the greater the probability? I assume the increase in probability is not in a direct linear relationship with years since the previous event.

I get that those are needles in a haystack, but how does that even happen? It seems counter to an airline's interest.

How do you handle items like healthcare, retirement and other benefits that seem to be a staple of the "working world"?
