Eat mango when toking makes the high last longer, plus it tastes awesome.

Edit: also congrats on you overcoming your past, because that is what you have done losing this weight. Told that person who fucked with you that they no longer control you and your thoughts, and you are worth much more than self harming with over eating.
Pat yourself on the back, from the sounds of it you are probably healthier than a lot if reddit/people. Healthy body = healthy mind, well it helps 254356632%

Self destruct huh? I think many people do this. Down? Make it worse for yourself. Too happy? Ruin it. This comes from not accepting yourself and punishing yourself albeit subconsciously (usually), because you feel you deserve it.

A whole host of reasons for this, but more common than people realise. Some people do it without realising they do it. I find being mindful is one of the best ways to learn about yourself. Essentially keeping a conscious eye on your behaviour and its effects on you.

I cannot recommend tai chi enough for self acceptance, anger management and control. You will get frustrated, furious at times, cry, laugh, get a natural high. All sorts, but sticking to it and you will learn to walk more peacefully through the world.

Good on you though, it a shame rock bottom usually has to happen before we try to do anything about it, but massive kudos on being able to pick yourself up, and get the hell on with life. Even with knockbacks that life throws at you, if you treat yourself well and have a good relationship with yourself, you are better prepared for all things life throws at you. We are our own toolbox, life is about learning to adapt, adjust and better yourself. If more people had a better understanding of themselves the world would be a much more understood and tranquil place. Our work is never done. :)
