I'm not part of the Nutaku Crew, but I was one of the whales that was hooked... but it eventually reached the point where I had so many of the shrine units that were available at the time that the odds of getting anything new (Specifically plat or black units) started to swing against me. At the time of the closure's announcement, I had long since stopped my spending on the game because, even after the inclusion of new units, I had 50% of the blacks available, and 67% of the available platinum units. I'll share some of my observations regarding MWA I made of my own behavior as time passed by, and what I had read of others during its lifetime.

The release of the Pick-Up Gacha (in which any black or platinum draw would have been limited to those units that were highlighted in the PUG's banner) was what I was waiting for to continue spending again.

I suppose a major issue that affected Whale spending on Nutaku's MWA was that we could see what all was coming down the pipes by looking at information that was available about DMM's MWA. Like I said, once I understood what the Pick-up Gacha was and how it worked, I basically cut off spending in anticipation of it as it would have helped to ensure (or even guarantee) that blacks I rolled in them were non-dupes. Knowledge of the Exchanges Quests and IC rewards eventually including Rarity-locked CR Spirits killed the value of rolling dupe blacks and plats (Which would have previously been useful as one of the very limited means for Cost reducing shrine units).

We also had good ideas on which units from some of the events were going to be good and which ones were utter garbage... hiding stats and numbers on DMM's banners could get people to spend on units that were ultimately bad when they finally unlocked at the end of the event, but on Nutaku, we just look over the Japanese wikis and cherry picked the good ones and ignored the bad ones. I recalled most of the Aigis wiki community voicing the intent to more or less just do Nagi's event for the SC and then farm dailies for the rest of its duration. (And then we found out that what was supposed to be the 90/12 mission was given the 100/2 cost which allows us to mincost her without spending a single SC if we had some luck on the drops).

Any plan to expand to additional mediums, such as translating and marketing mangas relating to the games you host?
