I know I'm too late to get a reply, but if you happen to see this I just wanted to share a memory with your grandfather about his ship. Spent a number of nights on the USS Alabama during 2 separate Boy Scout trips. Drove down from Tennessee to Mobile, AL where it is a floating museum now. We spent our nights aboard the ship down in the crew quarters. I couldn't believe how many bunks there were, and how cramped it was. We spent half the night playing flashlight tag all over the ship, running through the bulkhead doorways trying not to trip, etc. I still vividly remember, 18 years later now, standing on the bow of the main deck at night, wind howling so hard you could lean forward and it would keep you propped up, wondering what it must have been like to serve on the ship during WWII. Just wanted to share with your grandpa that his ship is still inspiring many young men these days, and to thank him for his service. I hope his retirement years are treating him well.

This is what I come to Reddit for.

Being an open world game, how will you handle environmental destruction/changes. Like what we saw in the release video of cars being damaged and destroyed?

Coming from working at a private ambulance company, this. So much this. He's not joking. We see these places at their best and worst, and can give you great insight into the actual competency of the workers at these facilities. Quick tip, at least half of them are terrible.

Exactly. I can have ten normal, professional experiences with nursing home staff, and then get just one or two calls that are so beyond stupid it makes me write off the entire facility as garbage. And I don't necessarily mean the 'stubbed my toe' crap. I mean the calls for a basic transport to the ER for a rectal bleed. Which actually started 4 hours ago and now the patient's BP I take on scene is 50/nothing. Nursing homes in my area are notorious for calling private ambulance companies for ER trips instead of the fire department because they don't have to report them as 911 emergencies on their record.

So nothing against you personally, we just get abused by our own company enough that we basically have little patience left for nursing staff's perceived incompetences. Unless you work a fire department or a MICU transport team, you make a shit wage and put up with bad situations everyday. Such is life in EMS.
