Hi Ronda, thank you for taking time to do this. I have two questions for you and just a general comment.

  1. I believe that Joe Rogan put it best where he said, you're not just a once in a lifetime, you're a once ever. You today are inspiring more people than the pioneers of WMMA like Tara LaRosa, Shayna Baszler, and Julie Kedzie, have ever even had watch their fights most likely. When you made the decision to give your all to MMA, did you have any idea or feeling that you would become this giant worldwide phenomenon like you have?

  2. I'm curious if you have a response to Brendan Schaub's comments on the last Fight Companion Podcast where he said that he's too much man for you and that you're surrounded by yes men.

I want to thank you for keeping your fights so short, I have a brother that's developmentally delayed, basically he's a 6-9 month old inside of a 22 year old's body. And I try to treat him as if not a thing was wrong with him, being a very avid MMA fan one way I do that is by watching fights with him. And your fights are the only ones that are short enough to hold his attention. So thank you very much for helping me to treat my brother like one of the guys.

Thank you very much for taking time to do this.

He's not retired. Dana's been saying he will be making a return sometime early-mid 2015.

Hi Anthony, I've been a huge fan you yours for many years now and have been following you career since your first fight in the WEC against Mike Campbell. I encourage you to check out /r/MMA if you get the chance.

That being said, I have two questions for you;

  • With Renan Barao not making weight this past weekend, Dana White has mentioned that if Renan can't cut to 135 in a healthy manner, he should look to go to 145; which would most likely mean Jose Aldo would go up to 155. If this were to all happen, how do you think Jose would fare at lightweight, and would you rather fight him at 145 or 155.

  • Also, the two fights you have lost, Steve Mazzagatti has been the ref, do you think there may be some correlation between the two, or just a coincidence?

You're both are stranded on a deserted island together. You have plenty of food and fresh water, so what would be one thing you would want to keep you occupied. Can be individually or for the two of you to share.
