They taste bad? I thought they were trafficked in part for their meat.

Is it possible to develop SAD in a more temperate climate, like the Southwest? Is it only linked to the shortening of the days or is snow a factor?

Their armor is so cool. I understand why this would be bad from a conservation standpoint, but could their scales be crafted into armor for humans? Have any cultures ever used them for that? Thanks!
