I had the corrective surgery when I was 15 and my doctor instead of fusing my whole spine together he evened out the curves on the lower and top part of my spine(only fusing the top part). He made sure that because he couldn't straighten my spine that the curves (while being subtle) still matched each other leaving my back still slightly crooked. Were they able to completely correct your scoliosis? I also had some complications afterwards, did you experience any?
