Probably because they know that it's lame but you gotta work competitively in business. If they didn't do that, they'd probably lose business to ones that did. I'm not saying that they have to but if they didn't the would probably lose business. Also, I'm not saying it's right, I'm saying they have their reasons.

How does a musician even make it in China? I haven't heard a single Chinese band before. I've heard japanese, Korean, Philippines was even represented.
