We know you love fish tacos, but how do you feel about shrimp tacos?

Personally, I am in favor of them.

At some point (and apologies if I've missed this), but I feel like e-books will offer the opportunity for an author to work with an artist to embellish the books in a digital format that may not be possible in a traditional book format. We can now add shading, footnotes, outside references, and other add-ons with little to no cost. A thriller write like Brown could add easter eggs to his e-books that lead you on a digital world scavenger hunt. A writer like Gaiman can add length to his books that had to be cut form earlier versions.

E-books may not have the weight and gravity of a real book, but they may offer more than just a one size fits all format.

At least I hope.

All hands, on early listenings, seems to have less "sing-a-long" songs than No Kings:

  1. Do you feel the same?

  2. If yes, was that intentional?

This is only axiomatic if you think health care is a perfect market right now. It's not a perfect market since people do not have time/options to make rational decisions. Many consumers cannot make rational decisions due to employer based health care restrictions, emergencies requiring the closet hospital, or required surgeries such as tumor removals.

So, if it's NOT a perfect market (which it clearly isn't), increasing demand won't necessarily increase prices if some of causes of increased prices are removed. Some of the ways obamacare can (and has) started lowering those costs are:

  1. Requiring insurers to actually spend money on patient care.
  2. Increasing the number of insured so hospitals don't have to write off thousands of dollars in non-recoverable fees.
  3. Forcing prices down through payment caps as more people are insured to fall under those caps.

We should not be running medicine completely like a normal business. Some parts absolutely should be (vast portions of cosmetic surgery for example) but basic care should not be since it fails to be able to be a even close to a perfect market.
