I am skeptical/curious about the black skull system. While I like the idea in general of the game a hell of a lot.. but the idea of a "three star" base and making it less of a management game and more skill grindy puzzle for new buildings seems like a failure point. You compare Death Inc to the old bullfrog games, but all of those offered freeform building of rooms, management with time based research normally the only wall to building. My question is, how in-depth do you see the management aspects of this game when you are planning to limit them with performance based black skulls?

PS: I am currently a backer already, but part of me thinks I am not the only one who is skeptical about this...

How late can richard ridings be funded? What is our deadline for paypal on him? Or is there none, and the moment you get the money you will add him in...

Are there any other addons planned for the last bit of kickstarter?

and finally, with Veins of Evil- Will we be able to eventually research EVERYTHING? The way it was sold at first sounded like it was limited by something other then time. If it is limited, will we be able to unlock it in a sandbox mode?

I see your point, and it does to a point. Though I wonder if there are other ways to do it, such as unlocking buildings after a level is completed ala dungeon keeper with black skulls providing a different use such as maybe upgrades to these rooms. But yeah your answer did answer my question enough. I just hope this system still provides the freedom needed. Thanks for answering
