This is a common misconception.... The economy improved in spite of Hitler. Hitlers economic policy had disastrous consequences for Germany during WW2.

ITT: People who know less about Nazi Germany and WW 2 than Jon Snow.

I would recommend Hitler and Stalin Parallel lives (Alan Bullock) for anyone who is interested in some of the best history ever written on Nazi Germany.
