Given the recent events in the world, if you were ever ordered to use deadly force against US citizens what would be your reaction? I am sure this is actually something that gets discussed among military men occasionally. Given your experience and knowledge what do you think would be the common reaction among the military if such an order was ever given? Finally, I am sorry to go on about this subject but it intrigues me to no end, is there a plan of action in place to remove from power any Executive, judicial or congressional members who advocate such actions against citizens?

Sorry. I just have never had a chance to ask anyone in the military this question before. I have heard the standard, "No one would ever follow such an order" line before, but as recent world events have unfolded it is not beyond reason that such an order may be issued in a time of civil unrest.
