Don't forget about the mandatory lectures on burn out and making sure you are taking time to do things you enjoy.

Im in medical school and already in quite a bit of debt. Even if I pay off aggressively, I will stay pay over 100K in interest. What are ways to reduce the burden of student loans while in school?

I feel like it does fundamentally change the system because it shows that you can offer care atleast at the primary care level without involvement of insurance companies. The next logical step would be more government subsidizing this model so undeserved can have an opportunity to be involved.

An NYU medical student and resident committed suicide 5 days apart. We just brush in under the rug and continue on with our burnt out lives. When is enough enough? When are organizations gonna step it up and fix a very broken system? When are we gonna start valuing mental health instead of just treating it? Hell, when are we gonna start valuing LIVES as healthcare professionals???? The business of medicine sure as hell isn't gonna do it.
