Also feel like puking at certain textures - you're definitely not alone :) It only got bad when I got lung clots and couldn't stand meat for a year. I'd love to see a database of foods grouped under different textures, so I could avoid overly slimy things.

Hi! Fellow young person with chronic respiratory issues (lung clots last August at 20, hopefully all gone after lots of blood thinners). I'm also an aspiring scientist - starting a Master's soon and am very excited!

My question is something I'm curious as to whether or not other younger patients have experienced this. Did you ever find that medical staff tended to talk to people who looked older than you about your issues, rather than you yourself?
