Why is change difficult for some people but others embrace and/or push for change?

In my work life I embrace and push change forward. I love coming up with new innovative ways of working and improvements. But In my home life I don’t tend to change much around because I like routine and stability.

I seem to have 2 distinct personalities when it comes to work & home life. I need to do a lot more self reflection why I’m more happy with change at work and less happy with change at home.
