Would you expect to see any changes in aggregate behavior following the abolition of IP? Could trade secrets provide sufficient means of protecting innovations? Will upcoming changes in the enforceability of IP spell its doom?

The subject of 2. is an ideology which rebrands state socialism, this time predicated on nearly omniscient computers calculating the optimal distribution of resources and the institutions which will deliver those resources. It was popularized because of an internet documentary with questionable content called Zeitgeist. I call it Marxism for the twenty-first century. It's a sufficiently vapid ideology that it's not really worth looking too deeply into as anything other than a peculiar internet phenomenon.
