This is probably going to sound stupid, but I'm scared to have a gun in my house because I'm afraid I'd use it on myself. It's not that I'm suicidal, or that I've ever been suicidal, but I can't help but wonder what would happen if, say, 30 years from now I get depressed or suicidal, and there happened to be a gun in my locker. Having a gun in the house just seems... scary. But then again, I live in a very safe area and have never touched one before.
