Same here. For me it's that there are so many services for abused humans, and so many ways for us to express our distress or fight against it. Animals don't have that and so for me their pain is so much more terrible.

You guys are awesome. I'm a veggie and I attend a vegan group for a potluck once a month. It's fantastic. The more I learn to cook for myself the easier it is to be vegan. And I'm constantly trying to convert my parents into being more conscious of where their food is coming from, they just don't seem concerned in the slightest :/

exactly. I was definitely aware that I was an undergrad as an undergrad. No one refers to you as a grad until you graduate.
