Hi Jane, thank you for taking your time to do this! I have followed your work for a long time! Ever since the US invasion of Iraq me and many others have wondered if we could ever see a fully autonomous and independent Kurdistan, so my question is:

Do you think these recent developments following the escalating progress of ISIS can somehow lead or have an effect on a possible independent Kurdish people?

It will definitely make a difference, I've worked on the financial side with a number of charities including UNICEF, and a large part of the disaster aid is made up of small donations. It will literally save lives, and especially when it comes to disasters such as this one. Although I do recommend people to give money on a monthly basis as it gives organisations the power of fiscal planning, ensuring more financial efficiency. With that money they can afford some 3 thousand water purification tablets.

How do you feel in the recent light of the Swedish wolf carer who was killed a month or so ago?

As you have mentioned Clausewitz I was wondering what you think the most common form of 'friction' in modern and future warfare will be?
