Finally an Astronomer!! Props!

What do you think about interstellar travel and Fermi Paradox? I think we don't have / won't have enough resources to maybe ever run an interstellar trip, and this is why other similar civilization hasn't colonized our galaxy yet. What are your thoughts on the subject?

I think you're going a bit into extreme here. While Chinese might bring their own high level workers, there will be a bustling economy sprung up to support them, similar to how services are established in cities that had one primary industry.

They're not misinformations, while archaelogical sites will be destroyed and copper mined away, the locals can actually make some money from this - even from the corruption as those officials are going to spend money somewhere. Now not that destroying Mes Aynak will worth all this but when you're hungry and destitute and perhaps uneducated the whole thing isn't on the agenda.
