Was chemo the only option? Was gamma( cyber knife) surgery an option?

Then have you looked into cyber knife? I ask because I got prostate cancer and luckily the surgeon gave me book about all my options, their outcomes etc. Least invasive if possible for your cancer is cyber knife. No cuts, 10 days of max dose very focused gamma rays and it worked for me. Just passing along incase you never researched it yourself. Good luck.
