Hey Michael! Your portrayal of nacho is stellar- lots of depth, honest emotion, and a clear sense of empathy. How have you spent time with this character to portray them so flawlessly? Is there a certain mindset you get in before shooting a scene? Thanks!

Ronnie your story is not uncommon which is incredibly sad. It sounds a lot like Wilbert Rideu’s story that he talks about in his book, in place of justice. Have you ever read that book? Did you read in prison? If so did you have any favorite texts?

I studied corrections and basically everything after the person gets arrested in university. What was the culture like in the prison that you were in? Did other prisoners recognize that you were innocent? Did anybody believe you?

Again I’m so sorry that you were on the receiving end of a racist corrupt criminal justice system that doesn’t look too different today.
