I worked on an all American ran ship and they paid federal minimum wage which was like $5.50 at the time. Pay sucked but we had unlimited overtime so I would have checks with over 70 hours in one week.

Yes, sex was crazy. Everyone was fucking someone. Lots of Gay stuff going on too since people are away from home then they can act how they really wanted to without anyone back at home knowing.

I worked on a ship for a year and a half and there were no parties. There is a crew bar and that's it. You are not allowed to get drunk while employed. At all. The second they find you drunk you are immediately terminated. The crew members are the firefighters and rescue people if shit goes down. You can't be drunk if the thing starts sinking.

The ship I worked on you were forbidden from going into passenger areas unless it was your work area. There's no reason for a dishwasher to be up on the main deck hanging out.

Working on the ship was the best time of my life. Granted, I was working crazy hours, but I still had fun and made a pot of great friends. If you're single I say do it. You have no rent to worry about or have to pay for food again unless you want to off the ship. Plus it's a 2 minute commute/walk.

I worked for Norwegian. Best time of my life. Was paid minimum wage but you get a free room and free food! Don't have to commute to work. You meet great people. And everyone is usually pretty horny. Hooked up quite a few times. No passengers though as I was a dishwasher so I never saw any.
