What is the general opinion you guys have of the petroleum engineers whenever they show up? Any of the flavors.

I'm a Junior in College Station studying PETE, looking to break into the intern/full time job field btw

I don't understand it myself since I love geology (part of why I want to go into reservoir) but I believe part of it is that they're sometimes seen as dropout engineers? That's total bull in perhaps the majority of the cases but the prejudice exists.
