IAmA is a subreddit intended for interviews with famous people, or people in other unique and noteworthy situations (such as a 14-year-old who was writing his third book). I say this not to downplay your situation, but to point out that there are subreddits which are there specifically to help people in dire straits, where you're likely to find more (and more rapid) assistance (from people who go there specifically to offer it). Two examples would be /r/assistance and /r/food_pantry, but I'm sure there are others, probably location-specific (I've found a few for my area).
tl,dnr; cross-post this to the assistace subreddits, and your situation will likely be brought to the attention of a broad audience of individuals specifically looking to lend a hand.
