What would you say to hopeful wannabe journalists out there? Both in Malaysia and everywhere else?

What do you need to make it as a journalist in Malaysia? What skillset is a prerequisite?

Who would have thought you'd need a compsci degree to be a journalist? Socmed I can understand. Problem is sifting through the ever growing loads of lies (a.k.a. fake news - just call it what it is) online.
